Fall Florals

It’s now officially September and the change in season is tangible. I went to bed on Saturday on a warm summer night and woke up to a brisk fall morning. Last night B and I enjoyed a nightcap with friends on a little bar overlooking the Mississippi, and even with jeans, a leather jacket and a scarf, it was chilly!

I’m still hoping for an Indian summer, but in the meantime, I’m excited for fall fashion. An autumn trend I’m particularly loving is floral prints. Not only are floral prints feminine and pretty, but they can make any outfit more memorable.

I already have a couple floral print dresses and skirts in my wardrobe and plan on wearing them with black tights and booties in the weeks to come, but wouldn’t mind adding these beauties to my closet:

Warehouse Over sized Floral Print Scarf, $37.13

1969 floral ankle-zip legging skimmer jeans, $69.95

REBECCA TAYLOR Red Autumn Flower Skirt, $118, available at Nordstrom’s

ASOS Peg Trousers in Vintage Tapestry Floral Print, $37.17

Will you be wearing floral prints for fall? It’s hard to go wrong with this classic look!

  1. I’m not sure if I’ll be purchasing florals for fall, I have a mild case of print-fear, but I love most certainly love the idea of wearing floral prints as the weather turns cool. What a fantastic way to add a little bit of sunny pep into one’s day! 🙂
