                                                         Little Audrey has been so extra cute this week

Good morning everyone,

Let’s all let out a collective sigh: the weekend is here! I’m so looking forward to the next couple of days as we don’t have too much going on and what we do have scheduled our things I love: holiday baking, maybe getting up the Christmas tree, and babysitting my sweet two month old baby Nephew.

More than anything, I want to live slowly this weekend and might even turn off my cellphone completely. Wouldn’t that be blissful?

Thank goodness it’s Friday, right? It’s been a good, but full week and I’m looking forward to catching up on sleep this weekend! B and I will be traveling up north for a wedding , but it should hopefully stay low-key. As the wedding is in Fargo, I’m looking forward to seeing my baby sisters and nieces and nephews. I can never get enough of those kiddos.

Audrey’s Halloween Costume. Needless to say, she thought she was terrifying.

Thank goodness it’s Friday, right? Even though it was a short week for me, I’m not complaining and I’m looking forward to catching up on life this weekend. Laundry is overflowing. Our apartment needs a’cleanin’. Audrey wants to go to the dog park. Beyond that, my family will be in town tomorrow for both of my brothers’ football game and I’m excited to finally watch Drew and Luke in action! On Sunday, my cousin and best friend will be visiting with her new husband. He’s English and I never tire of listening to his accent!

Happy Friday, everyone!

It’s a bright cool morning here in Minneapolis and, as usual, I feel a sense of accomplishment in just making it through the week. I hope you’re all looking forward to fun plans this weekend with time to unwind, enjoy a glass of wine and maybe even get lost in a good novel.

Sunday marks my one year wedding anniversary and to celebrate, B and I are heading to the North Shore for a long weekend. As the lodge we’re staying at doesn’t allow pets, we’ll even be ‘child free.’ Don’t feel too sorry for Audrey, though. She loves staying at the doggie hotel. I can’t tell you how excited I am to sleep in, have a change of scenery and not have to go to work on Monday! And then there’s spending time with my man, of course.

Happy Friday, everyone! I’m currently drinking a dark chocolate mocha and kicking my heels that it’s the weekend. Due to the 15 hours of sleep I got last night, I’m also finally getting the best of my sinus infection.

What are you up to this weekend? Can you believe we’re already past the middle of October? My in-laws are coming to visit this weekend and we’re so looking forward to seeing Wicked with them tomorrow night. Life is good!
