B made the best dinner last night and I’d love to share his recipe with you. We’ve been on a summer-long health kick and I love this recipe because it’s easy, healthy and filling. It also happens to be delicious.:)
From start to finish it took B about 20 minutes to make these wraps, so they’re a great weeknight dinner.
Ingredients you will need:
1 head Butter lettuce
1 lb Lean ground turkey
1 yellow and 1 orange peppers, diced
1 diced onion
Garlic to taste
For the sauce you will need:
1/2 c soy sauce
¼ c sweet chili sauce
2 teaspoons of siracha
2 T. brown sugar
Mix sauces together, adding more soy sauce or siracha according to taste.
Sauté the vegetables in canola oil until sautéed and tender. Cook the lean turkey in a separate skillet on medium until fully cooked before adding the sauce to the turkey. Let marinate a few minutes. Add the veggies to the meat.
Wrap in lettuce leaves and enjoy!
These wraps will also be great with crushed peanuts and fresh cilantro. X
